It is a part of Lions Clubs International, one of the largest service organizations in the world. The Leo Movement provides opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, engage in community service projects, and connect with like-minded individuals from around the world.
Lions Clubs International plays a key role in the formation and functioning of Leo Clubs by sponsoring, guiding, and supporting them. Each Leo Club operates under a local Lions Club, which provides mentorship, resources, and oversight while encouraging youth to engage in community service and leadership development. Through joint projects and continuous guidance, Lions help Leos gain practical experience, making Leo Clubs the official youth arm of the organization.
